Vertigo No Match for Amyl & the Sniffers

Amy Taylor puts the Amyl in Amyl & the Sniffers.

The opportunity to shoot a favorite artist multiple times is the best part of concert photography. Of course, it’s the music or stage performance that draws in any fan for repeat visits. From a photographer's perspective, it’s also like hopping into a time machine, affording a chance to course correct technical mistakes I may have made from their past shows and more importantly if I’m lucky, capture the artists in new and distinctive ways.

So, personal growth from considering better decisions and mitigating questionable ones not unlike…

Shooting this show after a bizarre and mind-bending bout with vertigo two days prior and despite feeling a bit better the day of the show, considered playing it safe and sitting this one out.

Sometimes motivational aspirations, careful considerations, better judgment, and today’s sentence structures can just go to hell.
