Hop Along Making the Metro their Post-Pitchfork Home
Frances making all swoon at the Metro.
After driving from Philly to perform Friday at Pitchfork Music Festival, Frances Quinlan and Hop Along continued their brief, two-day Midwestern tour, reconvening Saturday to headline a late-night aftershow at the Metro, before heading back to their Northeastern home. Maybe because of the transitory nature of their visit, Hop Along wasted little time in executing an ideal midnight mood, launching into “Waitress”, “Fox in Motion”, and “Somewhere a Judge”, and ultimately, culminating in fan favorites “How Simple”, and “Well-Dressed” elevating fans into a heartfelt, hypnotic sing-along state.
