Seeing Winona Driver at The Great Gathering last week felt like a long-awaited revelation. I'd seen hints of their existence, but nothing prepared me for their live presence, dangerously chic, veiled in noir.

Led by Mickey and Danii Driver, the femme fatales channeled the best of Veruca Salt and Hole, blending 90s grunge punk into their own, mesmerizing sound.
The stage was smoky, their performance hypnotic, pulling me in deeper with every note. Before I knew it, I was asking for portraits in a trance-like state.

Tonight as I poured over the images, I barely remembered seeing some of these at the time, but there they were, sharp and grainy, haunting, proven, and unforgettably charming.
