I've missed attending a Vial show the last few times they've visited Chicago, so I overcompensated by being the fourth person in line before the doors opened at Subterranean. Good and early.

Taking no chances.
The three piece group repping Minneapolis, set off vibrations throughout the three story venue, delivering a performance that bordered on obliterating my protective earplugs and displacing my rocky footing. It was punk pop heaven.

At times I had to remind myself that there were only three performers on stage generating the amount of energy, sound, and literal heat that pulsed through the audio equipment inches from my face.
Vial was/is such an accommodating group, allowing a spot for me to shoot in such a kind manner weeks before their actual appearance and forgiving of my persistent reminders. Again, wasn't going to take chances missing out here.
If you're lucky enough to experience what Minneapolis has to offer in the post punk scene, you'll understand why I was fourth in line at the doors, all the while eyeing for the first person in line to forfeit their spot.
