THE JETT GIRLS

The Jett Girls' debut at Cole's Bar was an absolute riot, blending the raw, rock influence of the Knee-Hi's with a fresh twist of new wave synth punk, my absolute favorite genre.

THE JETT GIRLS — 1

Devyn, Alice, and Kitt's performance recalled a vintage sci-fi aesthetic with gig clothing requiring heat resistant materials.

Their look was straight out of a sci-fi b-movie: blood-stained outfits, neon day-glow makeup, and tin foil clothing that captured angular bits of light and draped them in metallic rivers of magma in mid formation.

THE JETT GIRLS — 2

It was a memorable, coming out party, heralding a new age of originality in Chicago's very terrestrial scene.
