Los Bitchos' blend of danceable instrumentals, inspired surf-rock, and unlimited charm set the evening's mood at the Empty Bottle, riffing on their brand of Cumbia, a Colombian genre of music and dance (happily now aware of) that perfectly pairs with all things happy and pizza.
While waiting to photograph Los Bitchos, I dined on some of my favorite pizza next door.
On my second slice, Los Bitchos came in for their own pre-show meal, with the group's lead guitarist Serra Petale, asking in a rightfully amazed way, what kind of incredibly looking pizza was plated at my table.
With that minute exchange, I went on my way, inspired, capturing one of the most entertainingly unique and sweatiest shows I've experienced all year, shedding a few calories in its wake 🍕.
