Devyn is artistry in its purest form. She's one of the most talented artists I know and I will validate that annoyingly by saying that in my experience in a creative world, she reigns near the top. Her artistic range reverberates through everything she seems to touch, from music and songwriting to fashion design, and to me, in simply just moving through our world. I'm doing a disservice by just mentioning the obvious, but it's the nuances I've felt around her in the past, the effect she has on others, and her openness and welcoming nature that stand out most. Actually, one more example that's stuck with me recently.

Devyn deftly commands the punk and glam ethos, but can just as easily invoke old-timey Hollywood charm.
Yet it's those rarest of still moments I've been lucky to experience with her, captured in the shortest possible instances, that prove just as memorable to me.

Devyn's a captivating photography subject, an emotive force that transforms every frame, gig after gig, never repetitive, tired, or lazy. It's an endless stream of angles and motion, and my camera still fails to fully capture how effortless she makes it look, every single time.
Fun fact? Definitely: She was the first artist who truly inspired me to explore portraiture, and photographing her was a natural inevitability. While I know my work will never fully capture her essence, her continuous evolution as both an artistic talent and camera presence serves as constant inspiration and will always fuel the reasons why I do what I do.
Can't think of a better person to raise a glass to. Hip, hip, Devyn ⚡️
