I've never seen a show like Itchy Kitty's kinetic, sensory-overloaded Chicago debut Thursday night at Thalia Hall.
I'm hoping the current state of mainstream music can be saved with bands like Itchy, heralding a change steeped in the best of rock, punk and metal inspirations of yesteryear to create a new wave of sound and fury desperately needed.

Mid set, I pulled my earplugs off. Nonsensically reckless and ill advised, but when am I seeing this group again? I've waited two years to see them come down from the Northwest to bring their…. their online profile says it better than anything I can say.
