The last show of the year is always a mixed bag. It punctuates twelve months of experiencing some of the best shows I've ever seen, from incredible artists both familiar and new.

While grateful for these experiences, figuratively patting myself on the back for a day's 'hard work' is a bit tougher with literally a bout of tendinitis in the 'ol shootin' arm.
Some rest is in order before the new year, but when the last show to capture is Creeping Charlie, a group whose sound more than any other artist this year has soothed the anxious moments of my year, I welcome it. I sprint towards it. Peace is what we all want about this time of year. With Creeping Charlie on repeat, I've had just that.

A peaceful year thanks to a newly discovered band from Minneapolis, where even a stubborn, aching elbow of mine has no chance of spoiling a solid 12.
Happy Holidays to all and extra cheers to you, Creeping Charlie.
Keep an eye out for the year in review!
