The groups I admire and photograph often differ in ways that highlight their unique musical talents and stage performances. Their varying genres, fan followings, and career lengths add to the excitement and distinctiveness of each show.
However, a majority of them seem to share one significant commonality: a shared interest and admiration (my words, but is it really?) for an influential artist. Like me, many of these performers follow this artist. While this observation isn't based on hard metrics, it consistently holds true in my experience as it relates to Alica Bognanno, known as Bully.
Like planets orbiting a sun, many bands revolve around Bully, with Alica Bognanno at the center of my musical universe. It might have been unexpected, but it all makes sense to me.
