BULLY

Headlining at the Empty Bottle Saturday night, Alicia Bognanno's Bully opened her set with "Like Fire" and "Where to Start" from her solo 2020 Sugaregg release, ensuring the best way to end my pandemic-laden absence behind a lens.

With more acts returning to the small stage, there hasn't been a shortage of shows to shoot, but Bully, within the friendlier confines of the Empty Bottle, was my first curative choice to address my personal well-being and imminent farewell to summer.

Additional tracks complemented the evening such as "Prism", "Feel the Same", "Trying", and fan-favorite encores "Hours & Hours" and "Milkman", each track allowing fans to accompany Alicia through a turbulent, impassioned, and ultimately, an empowered performance.
