Shameful. I Photographed Bugsy Saturday night and was genuinely frustrated that I hadn't discovered them sooner. Truthfully I had, through a recommendation, but never went. Absolute madness on my part. Minneapolis consistently produces top-tier artists, and Bugsy is no exception. Their performance was a whirlwind of energy and emotion, and I was thrilled to capture every expressive moment.
The city's vibrant music scene truly shone through in their electrifying show at Schubas.
Lead singer Emily Schoonover was particularly outstanding, with her incredibly emotive presence on stage translating into some of the most compelling photos I've ever taken. Bugsy is definitely worth the seven-hour drive from Chicago to Minneapolis; their live performance was an experience that shouldn't be missed.
So pleased to call these talented artists neighbors.
