The opportunity to shoot a favorite artist multiple times is the best part of concert photography. Of course, it's the music or stage performance that draws in fans for repeat visits.
From a photographer's perspective, it's like hopping into a time machine, affording a chance to course correct technical mistakes I may have made from their past shows and more importantly if I'm lucky, capture the artists in new and distinctive ways.
